What is the ISO 27001 Academy?

A series of 6 two-hour workshops to help you understand the ISO 27001 standard, implement an information security system aligned with it and get ready to achieve accreditation.

The workshops will walk you through the preparation of an information security management system manual - the key document your business will need for ISO 27001.

The workshop is conducted by the team at Securious, a cyber security and data management company who pioneered the ISO 27001 Academy approach and have successfully helped numerous businesses through their ISO 27001 accreditation.

How does the ISO 27001 Academy work?

The online workshops are live and interactive, typically held once every two weeks over a 12 week period. They will cover topics including:

- What is ISO 27001?

- How can ISO 27001 help GDPR compliance?

- Leadership requirements to support ISO 27001

- Planning and asset management

- Risk assessment and risk treatment

- How to evaluate performance

How much does the ISO 27001 Academy cost?

We offer two versions of the ISO 27001 Academy:

One is based on group workshops where you will participate with people from other businesses also working towards their ISO 27001 accreditation. This can be especially valuable for comparing experiences and holding each other to account.

The other is a bespoke version where only members of your own company will attend the workshops.

Please note, these costs do not involve the cost of assessment for ISO 27001, which is paid directly to the certification body.
